Transit Visa

Transit visa is issued for a limited period of time for foreigners who intend to pass through Iran to a third country.

Required documents:

1- One completed [visa] application form.

2- The applicant’s passport; which must be valid for at least 6 months, with a minimum of two blank pages.

3- Copy of Passport (ID-page).

4- Valid visa for third country.

5- Confirmed air ticket for individuals who travel by air to Iran and third country.

6- Two current photographs in passport format (3 x 4) in white background.

7- Bank receipt and visa fee (paid by Banker’s receipt)

Note: Payment in cash is not acceptable.

8- Return envelop with address and adequate prepaid postage to cover cost of registered mail.

• We shall make every effort to process your application as quickly as possible but we must strongly advise you to check that all required documentation has been submitted. Incomplete applications are subject to delays.

• The Consular section may call the applicant for interview, if necessary.
